ALERT: Recent research has shown that statins exhibit no benefit for the prevention of heart disease (by Bill Sardi, knowledgeofhealth.com)
New research about statins indicate they need to be re-evaluated. Current statin use is based on older studies done prior to 2005 when the guidelines went into effect. Researchers found:
*While statins do lower LDL levels they have no benefit in prevention of coronary disease.
*Statins are mitochondria toxins and can do damage at the cellular level where all disease activity occurs.
*Statins impair the immune system.
*Statins INCREASE mortality (1.6X) for cardiovascular, heart failure, cancer, diabetes, kidney disorders.
*Most complications show up 6 years after beginning statin medications and are often overlooked. Most physicians are unaware of the dangers.
*Statin users may experience heart failure on average six years following the drug use.
It is clear that our health care system needs re-evaluated from top to bottom. Obamacare has not provided the benefits the people deserve. As a health care provider, I understand the needs of our health care system. Your vote in November would allow me to provide my expertise in Congress. We need to revise our health care system to re-evaluate all medications, focus on prevention along with early intervention using the latest genetic information and eliminate the loss of life from medical errors. Medical errors alone take the lives of 250,000 Americans every year. Many more are impaired because of mistakes and mis-diagnoses.
